The Redesign Process
PROBLEM DEFINITION
The reason for Redesign
-
The company’s website is outdated in terms of visual design and user experience. An old-fashioned website can fail to engage users, leading to a poor first impression and reduced credibility.
-
The existing branding doesn't communicate the company's focus on sustainability and innovation. Inconsistent branding can confuse clients and fail to transmit the company's core values and mission.

-
The website has usability issues, such as difficult navigation and poor mobile optimization.
The goal
Create a modern, visually appealing, and intuitive website that effectively communicates the company's commitment to sustainability and innovation.

To start planning the architecture of the application I created an application map to organize the screens in a way that would be logical and intuitive for our user.
Mid-fidelity Wireframes and Prototype
Before working on the visual design, I wanted to first make sure that the design was functional. In order to do this, I decided to create a mid-fidelity prototype which would help me quickly test the design on real users and make any priority revisions before integrating the branding and visual design.
To create my prototype, I first started by creating mid-fidelity wireframes on Figma of the key screens the users would be interacting with.
REBRANDING AND DESIGN
Interface
DeltaCom’s new branding wants to reflect the following attributes:
Sustainability, Reliability and Innovation, I worked on setting the visual direction of their branding to convey their unique identity.
Moodboard
I first began by gathering inspiration on Pinterest - looking for different brand elements around their brand attributes. I looked at different things such as color palettes, typography, logos, and imagery to help set the direction of their branding.
Color Palette and Typography
For DeltaCom’s branding, I focused on creating a balance between its sustainable approach, while still maintaining their innovative and technological spirit.

Different shades of Green:
Dark Green: Represents stability, growth, and environmental responsibility. It conveys a sense of reliability and depth, reflecting DeltaCom's commitment to sustainable practices.
Light Green: Symbolizes technological approach, renewal and innovation. It provides a fresh, vibrant feel that aligns with the company’s focus on innovative solutions and positive environmental impact.

Black: enhances contrast against lighter colors, making text and icons stand out more clearly. This improves user experience by making information easier to read and interact with.
Graphic Redesigns examples
Before and after the redesign, graphics such as the Circular Economy Service System have become interactive. Each step is now a button that leads to a new page. Similarly, other graphics, like the "Our Locations" map, have been updated to a more modern and professional style, in line with the brand's new visual identity guidelines.
